Our Local Hero

In this unprecedented time, we’ve adjusted our usual way of working with people working from home and some on furloughed leave. Many of the team had thought about how they were going to change their day to day living, negotiate shopping and how to fill their time while keeping themselves safe and isolated.

One of our generator engineers, Tim, used the time to help out with food deliveries at the on-site free supermarket at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospitals in London. He did this as part of Team Rubicon UK (a volunteer response team) and even got interviewed as “Our Very Own Hero” in The Sun – read more here.
